Way to Quit Smoking

There are many people that have tried to stop their addiction of smoking many times, and nothing seems to ever work for them.  You should first ask yourself, “Do I really want to quit smoking?” You should also consider all of the different risks that you’re taking against your health that are very risky and dangerous on your body.

Most people that are unable to quit smoking don’t really even want to quit smoking to begin with whether they believe it or not. They may be trying to quit because someone like their spouse or a friend may have tried to encourage them too, but deep down inside they still want to continue down the dangerous path or ruining their health by smoking. So is there a way to quit smoking? Of course there is, there are many ways that you can stop smoking. Though it is an addiction, you can stop doing it without the help of any kind or methods that people have to offer if deep down inside you really want to quit.

A way that could help you quit smoking is by thinking of your brain as an iceberg. With an iceberg, you can see part of it above water right? That is like your brain, in which the conscious part of your brain would be that small portion that is visible like the iceberg. That small part of the brain is the part that knows you should stop smoking, and wants you to stop smoking, because it’s the right thing to do. Deep underneath that surface of the conscious part, is the bigger part of you that is the most controlling and leads you into thinking that you should keep smoking, which is the subconscious part of your brain, thus the bigger part of the iceberg. Obviously the bigger part which is the subconscious part is that part of your brain that controls and has the most influence on what you do.

The thing that you will need to do in order to quit smoking, is to convince the subconscious part of your mind that you don’t need to smoke, that it is bad for you. As you continue to speak to your mind in this way, your mind will begin to believe that, the more that you meditate on it, and slowly but surely your desire of smoking will decrease. Though as I have said before if you truly want to stop, then you can quit smoking in one day! Believe it or not! Is should not really take that much to get yourself to stop smoking.

Now you may be apprehensive or second guessing yourself when thinking or considering on using this method? But what’s it going to hurt to give it a try. Either way it goes this is a good way to stop smoking. If you’re determined enough to stop you’ll keep at it and you’ll be cigarette free in no time. Those that fail are the ones that give up!
